Chairman

Uche holds an LL.B from the University of Buckingham and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. He started his law practice in Harald Olga & Blackham Law Chambers and thereafter set up his own law firm Obilor, Akudihor& Associates as a Principal Partner.

Uche holds an LL.B from the University of Buckingham and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1988. He started his law practice in Harald Olga & Blackham Law Chambers and thereafter set up his own law firm Obilor, Akudihor& Associates as a Principal Partner. He joined West Africa Offshore Limited as an Assistant General Manager and rose to the position of Executive Director. Mr. Obilor is a key player in the Oil & Gas Industry and is currently the Chairman of Seabulk Offshore Operators & Hercules Offshore Limited (Two Leading Firms in the Maritime Transport Sub-sector of the Oil and Gas Sector). He also sits on the board of several companies such as Shelter Concepts Limited, South Dredge Ltd, OgbeAhiara Micro Finance Bank amongst others. His hobbies include playing Golf, Soccer and Reading. Uche is the Chairman of Aquila Leasing Ltd.

Chuka is an accomplished professional banker with extensive experience in corporate finance, corporate banking, treasury and banking operations. Prior to joining Aquila Capital, he was an executive director in Continental Trust Bank Ltd.

Chuka is an accomplished professional banker with extensive experience in corporate finance, corporate banking, treasury and banking operations. Prior to joining Aquila Capital, he was an executive director in Continental Trust Bank Ltd. and later the Managing Director/CEO of Corporate Remedies Ltd. He once worked at City Savings and Investment Bank Limited in Namibia. He is presently on the board of many reputable organizations. He holds both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and an MBA from the University of Lagos. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious international Institute for Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland, and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. Chuka is also the immediate past Chairman of the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN)

Nnamdi is an accomplished professional banker who has over 15 years of experience in Treasury, Credit Administration, Public Finance, Project Finance, Oil & Gas Upstream, Services and Downstream. Prior to joining Aquila, he worked with Access Bank as a Deputy General Manager where he was a member of various committees within the bank, including Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO), Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC) etc. He holds a degree in Marketing from a Nigerian University and has attended several professional leaderships and skill-based training programs organized by reputable institutions including LBS-London, Euromoney, INSEAD, SAID Business School and IMD Switzerland.

Alhaji Shafii Aliyu

Mr. Aliyu is a graduate of Mass Communications Bayero University Kano, 1990 and a Masters in Business Administration from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales 1992. He is an accomplished Banker and Oil Trading professional with over 23 years working experience 10 (Ten) of which was in Nigerian Banking organisations specializing in Foreign Exchange Trading, Treasury Management and Branch Operations. After Leaving the banking industry in 2003, Mr. Aliyu moved into the Oil and Gas business working as a Petroleum Products Trader at Barbedos Oil and Gas Services Ltd. An indigenous Oil and Gas firm in Nigeria. He is responsible for Business Development in both local and international markets. He is also a director at Pennington Energy Trading Company and a consultant with Skylimit International for the procurement of Security Equipment for some of the security forces in Nigeria. Abiola is a Partner and the Managing Director of AfricInvest Capital Partners (ACP) Nigeria Limited; a fully owned affiliate of AfricInvest Capital Partner (ACP), a Mauritius based fund Management Company. At ACP, Abiola is responsible for sourcing, structuring and negotiating investment opportunities across various sectors. She has over 16 years’ experience in Financial/Business Advisory, Intermediating Capital, Enterprise Development, Mergers and Acquisition, Project Management, Strategy and Change Management. In addition, she served as an internal consultant to the World Bank funded project of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) project. Abiola has also worked with the capital projects division of Mobil (Now ExxonMobil) on project analysis, reporting and system design. She led the team that served as joint Financial Advisers on one of the biggest bank mergers in West Africa and was a lead consultant to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on the development of the Financial System Strategy working with the World Bank and IFC. Abiola is a first-class graduate of Computer Science combined with Accounting, a Fellow of ICAN, a Prince2Project Manager, and an Alumnus of Harvard Business School. Her interest includes meeting people, and solving management and leadership issues.

Seni Adio, Esq., LL. B (Hons.), LL.M Taxation, BL is currently the Managing Partner of COPLEY PARTNERS, Lagos, Nigeria. He is a well-trained Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, as well as an Attorney-at-Law in the United States of America admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Notably, before returning to Nigeria, Seni practiced law at the law firm, MINTZ LEVIN, in Boston, Massachusetts, where he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming a Member (Partner). While in the United States, he represented multinational publicly- held conglomerates and private companies on various matters, including Banking and Finance, Complex Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution; Fiduciary Law and Corporate Governance; Public Procurement Law and Infrastructure Development; Legislative and Regulatory Matters before the United States Congress; Tax Abatement; Intellectual Property Law; Internet Technology and Security; and Insurance. While at MINTZ LEVIN, he served in various leadership capacities, including as a member of the Hiring Committee.

Seni is also a member of other various professional organizations, and also an alumnus of the Boston Chapter of the prestigious National Conference for Community and Justice (“NCCJ”). He obtained his Bachelor of Laws with honours (LL. B Hons.) from The University of Buckingham, United Kingdom and his Master of Laws (LL.M Taxation) from Boston University School of Law, Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

He enjoys running and completed two Boston Marathons.

She supervised key strategic business directorates such as: Treasury and Financial Institutions, Corporate Banking, Project & Structured Finance, International Subsidiaries and International Funding Group.

She has earned enviable professional and academic accomplishments in globally reputable institutions in the areas of corporate leadership, strategy and change management. Also, she is an alumnus of the renowned executive Business School, INSEAD, Fontainebleau in France and IMD Business School Lausanne, Switzerland. She has attended the Professional Service Firm Leader, programme of the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge as well as the much sought after Leading Strategic Growth & Change Programme, Columbia Business School.

She also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from the University of Buckingham, Master of Science (M.Sc.) Degree in Corporate Governance from Leeds University, United Kingdom and an MBA from the University of Port Harcourt. In addition, she holds several certifications and fellowships including being Senior Fellow of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Nigeria, Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA) and Institute of Management (NIM) respectively.

She also holds membership of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) Nigeria, and Institute of Directors (IoD). Presently, she holds the position of Chief Executive Officer of Blueshield Financial Services Limited.
