Aquila currently has around 900 employees. The number includes the pool of drivers under the fleet management services. The core staff consists of approximately 85 people. 

The Company recognizes its responsibility regarding the occupational health, safety, and welfare of its employees and has put in place measures to safeguard them. Hence all people in Aquila’s employment possess a health insurance through the mandatory Health Maintenance Organizations. 

Also, Aquila has a pension scheme for its employees with all staff on ‘permanent and pensionable’ conditions of service being members of the scheme. Aquila and all its employees also contribute to the Pension Fund Administrators, regulated by the Nigerian Pension Commission (PENCOM).
